XRP ETFs: XRP ETF Lineup Posts $26.20M Net Addition Friday, Trails Only One August Day

SoSoValue data shows U.S. spot XRP ETFs added $26.1964 million on August 28, 2026, with Bitwise leading at $15.3981 million. The print marks the second-strongest August day for the products even as broader crypto markets posted softer candles.

While Bitcoin slipped 1.9 percent to $77,697 and Ethereum dropped 2.8 percent to $2,435.54 on the same session, the U.S. spot XRP ETF group recorded a clear net inflow of $26.1964 million on Friday, August 28. The result stands out against the softer price action across majors and places the category on a consistent August cadence that has now produced multiple strong inflow days.

SoSoValue figures carried by ChainCatcher confirm Bitwise XRP ETF took in $15.3981 million on the day, lifting its historical total past $603 million. Canary XRPC followed with $5.1198 million, bringing its cumulative figure to $483 million. Grayscale was the sole issuer among the five to post an outflow, leaving the net positive at the category level. At publication the products held $1.439 billion in assets under management with a 1.66 percent net-asset ratio and $1.663 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch.

CoinGabbar data frames the Friday print as the second-best August day on record for spot XRP ETFs. The session sits behind only one higher August inflow and ahead of the prior Thursday figure, showing the flow momentum has held across consecutive trading days rather than spiking on a single outlier. That pattern matters because it reflects ongoing allocator interest even when spot XRP itself posted a 2.3 percent decline to $1.39.

The chart context is useful here. XRP has chopped inside a narrow range for much of the month while majors ripped higher earlier and then pulled back. ETF inflows have continued to arrive on both green and red days, suggesting the product channel is capturing longer-term positioning rather than reacting to intraday candles. The cumulative $1.663 billion net inflow line has climbed steadily, underscoring that the August streak is not a one-week phenomenon but part of a broader build that began earlier in the year.

Bitwise remains the dominant flow leader within the group. Its $15.3981 million single-day addition on Friday alone accounts for more than half the category total and extends the issuer’s historical edge. Canary’s $5.1198 million print adds further breadth, showing participation beyond the top issuer. With only one manager in outflow, the overall lineup avoided the single-product drag that can mute headline numbers.

For traders watching the XRP chart, the inflow data supplies a separate signal from spot price action. The $1.39 level printed a modest loss on the day, yet the ETF vehicles still attracted capital. That divergence has appeared on other sessions in August as well, pointing to a steady bid that does not require an immediate spot rally to stay active. The second-best August day therefore sits inside a longer sequence of positive net flows rather than an isolated spike.

The AUM figure of $1.439 billion and the 1.66 percent net-asset ratio further illustrate how the products have scaled without a single dominant catalyst. Daily prints in the mid-teens to high-twenties of millions have compounded into the cumulative total, demonstrating the kind of consistent interest that survives short-term price ranges. Friday’s result keeps that sequence intact and positions the category for continued monitoring as August closes.

Market participants will track whether the next sessions maintain the same pace. The data through August 28 already shows the XRP ETF complex has delivered two of its stronger August prints within the final week, a sign the inflow streak has durability even when spot candles remain mixed.
